The poem "Toucan" is a tongue twister, which brings us to our first poetic device, the assonance. The assonance in this poem is throughout the entire poem. Another poetic device is the rhyme scheme. The rhyme scheme used throughout this poem is AA format. The last poetic device used in this poem is rhyme. Rhyme is used in every line of this poem. This poem is about whether or not we can catch a toucan, ride a toucan and stick to a toucan. Overall, this is a creative poem. It is a tongue twister so it is a little confusing to read, but I still enjoy this poem.
