Fire and Frost- I think this poem is about a war, possibly the war of Armaggedon. This war will end the world in a mass destruction of fire. I also think it is about glaciers and how they will be involved in the end the world. All of this is an extended metaphor. This poem does not follow a strict rhyme scheme so it is free verse. Just because this poem does not follow a rhyme scheme does not mean it doesn't have rhyme. Rhyme is used in this poem when it says "ice and suffice". It is used in lines seven and nine. Overall this poem is very short but it seems to have taken a long to create because of the message it displays.
