This poem is dark. I am not the type of person who likes those poems. This poem has several different poetic devices. One is free verse. This poem does not folllow a specific rhyme scheme. Hyperbole is also used in this poem when its says "running beanth his breath". This is also an extended metaphor becasue the whole poem is about him dying and not wanting to be alive. Overall this is a good poem. Just not one i would read for fun.
